December Favorites 2017

I feel like I say this all the time – but honestly I can’t believe we are at the end of December and ready to celebrate a new year. This past month has been busy but rejuvenating all at the same time. I am excited to see what 2018 has to bring. In the mean time, here are some of my favorite things that I enjoyed this December.

Sharper Image Aromatic Diffuser – My husband got this on sale at Target for me for Christmas. It has a 5 oz capacity and plugs into the wall. For me, it’s perfect to diffuse some essential oils in any room in the house. It stays on for 8 hours and has my house smelling amazing! I am thinking of buying one for my office as well.

Tis The Season Candle – I bought this at Bath & Body Works and the scent is amazing. It has hints of cinnamon and apple, but it reminds me more of a Christmas scent than a fall scent.

Coquito – My sister in law Esther makes bottles of coquito for family and friends for the holiday. If you are not familiar, coquito is a Puerto Rican rum eggnog type drink and it is nothing less than delicious. It is a Puerto Rican tradition for the holiday season. For a recipe, click here.

Loreal Collagen Moisture Filler – I am on a constant search for a good moisturizer in the winter time because my skin gets so dry. I bought this on a whim because my Olay moisturizer works well, but I wanted something more for at night time. I started using this and it gives my skin such a silky smooth feeling without leaving it greasy. I am loving it so far. I am not one to spend a ton of money on makeup – so for $9 this was a good deal to me.

CO Smith’s Rosebud Salve Lip Balm – On top of my skin getting dry in the winter, my lips get super chapped as well. I bought this one year at Bath and Body Works and it has been my go-to ever since for lip care. It smells like roses and leaves your lips feeling really soft and smooth. I have been buying it at Ulta recently for $6.

Ghiradelli Assorted Bag Chocolates – I love chocolate and I love dark chocolate even more. I got this bag at TJ Maxx as an impulse purchase while I was waiting on line. It was $7.99 and it comes with all different kinds of chocolate – and all of them are super good. I’ve packed them in my lunch as they are just the right size for an afternoon pick me up.

Bailey Bow Mini Black Uggs – My husband got me these as a Christmas present and I love them. I have the light and dark brown colors as well as the black knit uggs, but I’ve been wanting regular black Uggs for a while now and these are perfect. I know UGGS are super expensive but I’ve had my other ones for years so in my mind they are worth every penny, especially when it snows here in NEPA.

Erin Condren Life Planner – So another Christmas present of mine was the Erin Condren Life Planner. It is the 2018 version, so I haven’t been using it yet but I have had lots of fun starting to set it up (check out my essentials for setting up a planner here. You can go here for a $10 off code for Erin Condren (includes referral link).

Walmart Photo Christmas Cards – I have used Shutterfly and Minted in the past – and although they have great products, I was looking for a relatively inexpensive and nice looking card this year which was difficult to find on those websites. I don’t send out a lot of Christmas cards – really only to close family and friends so I usually buy about 25 cards which ends up costing more money on those other sites (the more you buy, the cheaper price per card). For the past 2 years I have used Walmart and have been pleased with how my Christmas cards turned out. It is nothing super fancy, but a cute Christmas card that I send out that I don’t feel guilty about buying because it only cost about $10 for 25 and they shipped very quickly.

Wet Brush – My girls have curly hair and brushing their hair is quite an adventure. I have read lots of good things about this brush and have to agree that it is amazing and detangles wet hair without the tears and no breakage! I highly recommend this brush to anyone who has curly hair or for those who have kiddos to get the tangles out. I got mine at Walmart for maybe $8 or $9, and it is worth every penny!

So those are my favorites for the month of December. What were some of your favorite things from this month? Leave it in the comments.

**All items are things I have purchased on my own – I was not sent or compensated for any of these things. Erin Condren link is a referral link that leads to $10 off coupon and referral credits for myself if items are purchased through it.
