August Favorites

Happy September everyone! It is by far my favorite month – it is my birthday month, my hubby’s birthday month, the start of Fall – I just love it. But enough about September – I am here to take it back to August and tell you guys all about the things that I loved and used in the month of August.

  1. Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop – I have been using a regular mop (I bought it at mopDollar General) and bucket – and kept switching up the products I used on my kitchen and wood floors and just was never satisfied. My husband I guess had enough of my complaining and told me to order a steam mop – so I did – and o. m. g. what a game changer this beauty is. It comes with two cloths – one for heavy scrubbing, the other for every day cleaning. It is easy to maneuver, comes with scent discs to make the floors smell nice and is literally the best thing since sliced bread. I kid you not – it got my floors so clean and just with water! I have used it everyday since and am in love with this little machine. If you don’t own one you need to RUN – not walk – and get one.
  2. YES TO Coconut Cleansing Wipes – I bought these on a whim at Ulta one day and I think they are great. I am notoriously bad at taking off my makeup at the end of a long day and love wipes for the ease of just grabbing one and cleaning my face YES TOquickly. I have been on a coconut kick lately and these smell amazing and leave my skin feeling refreshed, clean and smelling awesome. My skin is sensitive and at times new products will make my face break out but so far I have not had any issues with these wipes.
  3. Mario Badescu Facial Spray– While I was in Ulta I also snagged this facial spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea. I used to use a facial spray by Clinique but have not used it in quite some time but I liked it. I was intrigued by this brand and at only $6 – I would not feel bad if it was something that didn’t work for my skin. My skin is really dry year round so at times it is hard for me to find a product that moisturizes my skin without making it look greasy. This spray is awesome and it is extremely refreshing for the summer time heat. I like the way it feels, it’s not sticky, it has a fresh, clean scent and it hydrates my skin really well. I will definitely be Mariorepurchasing this spray again.
  4. Plum Paper Planner – I have been needing a planner for work as my Day Designer that I was using ran out in July. I have been putting off buying another one but I am kind of lost without a planner for work and broke down and purchased the Plum Paper Planner. I decided on this one because it is not super expensive (starts at $32), I used a Plum Paper before (2 years ago) and it worked for what I needed it for. The thing I love about this particular planner for my work is that I was able to begin the planner in September, and customize it to make it hourly from 8am to 8pm for work. I have not received it yet but stay tuned, I will share what it looks like when it gets here!

That sums up all of my loved items for August. Leave me a message in the comments of what you loved in August! Check back next month for more posts on my monthly favorites!

Have a great night!

Xx
