The Most AMAZING Chicken Parm Casserole

I have made this a boat load of times but never shared. It is one of the easiest dinner recipes ever – and you can’t mess it up! It is truly an easy dump and bake recipe that us fool proof and delicious. If you love chicken parmesan like my family does but don’t have the time – this recipe is for you! All the flavor but less mess and time to prep.

Ingredients

2 lbs raw chicken breasts, cubed into bite size pieces

3 cloves garlic, minced

25 oz jar Marinara sauce (I used Rao’s)

3 cups shredded mozzarella, divided

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil

5 oz bag garlic croutons (roughly chopped up)

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (divided)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and generously butter a 9×13 casserole dish.

Spread cubed raw chicken in the bottom of the dish.

Sprinkle minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and basil evenly over chicken and pour sauce over the top.

Combine the cheeses and sprinkle half over the top of the sauce.

Top with crush croutons and then the rest of the cheese mixture.

Cover loosely with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

I am telling you – this dish is super simple & super easy. You can serve it with a salad, garlic bread, side veggie, or side of pasta. It’s also just delicious on it’s own. 1. This sounds amazing. I make my croutons from scratch with fresh ciabatta loafs from Semifreddi’s. Am I greedy for wanting to add pasta to this recipe?? 😋
