Pizza Roll-Ups

Pizza Roll-ups is a genius way to make a quick snack or lunch for the kids. I saw this on Tik Tok and had my doubts – but honestly, it is genius! All you have to do is add pepperoni and cheese to a skillet, let it melt, and top it with a tortilla. Spin it around and then flip it over onto a plate. I added some marinara sauce and then rolled them up and voila! A delicious, quick & easy snack or lunch that was a huge hit with the kiddos.

Pizza Roll-Up Ingredients

5-6 Slices of Pepperoni Per Tortilla

2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Large Tortilla

1-2 Tablespoons Marinara Sauce

Sprinkle of Italian seasoning

How to Make Pizza Roll-Ups

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet to medium heat. Place pepperoni and then cheese into the middle of the skillet.
  2. Let the cheese melt for 30-90 seconds and then add the tortilla right on top. Use your hand to press the tortilla down and spin it so the cheese is secured to the tortilla.
  3. Flip the tortilla over, add the sauce and Italian seasoning if you like and let it hang out for a minute or so until browned.
  4. Move the tortilla over to a cutting board and roll it up. Cut it in half to serve. Enjoy!

Tips for Making Pizza Roll-Ups :

  • You’ll definitely need a good nonstick skillet for this snack.
  • Use this idea and take it in many other directions. Ham and cheese, or chopped chicken and bbq sauce for another variation. Another great possibility is making a breakfast roll up with cheese, bacon or sausage, and eggs.
  • I have used both cheese slices and shredded cheese with this idea and both have worked out great.

You can also use a smaller tortilla and just use less of the ingredients for smaller versions.
