Crockpot Mississippi Roast

I just want to put this out there that I have always steered away from making a roast for dinner because I felt like they took too long or could end up being more complicated than I would like. I have seen this recipe a bunch of times on Pinterest and my friend made it one night and told me I had to try it, so I finally did. This Mississippi Roast recipe is a total game-changer! It was by far the easiest and tastiest roast I have ever made!

I’m always on the hunt for easy recipes to throw in the crock pot especially for nights that I work late. Any of the recipes that I put in the crockpot need to be hearty and filling because my husband is picky and his food has to have flavor. This recipe hit all the spots – it was a little too spicy for my kids liking, but the hubby and I tore it up!

Ingredients

Only 6 ingredients are needed to make this tender, melt in your mouth roast! 3-pound chuck roast, 1 packet of Ranch Dressing Mix, 1 packet of Au Jus mix, pepperoncini peppers, and butter. That’s it!
