Baseball Fun

My brother texted me on Thursday saying he was going to the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Rail Riders game Friday. Long story short, I ended up buying tickets for the girls and I because I thought it would be fun and I wanted to see my family. We got lawn seats which were $10 and for having kids probably the best option. We had towels for us to sit on and I brought a backpack full of stuff to play with. The kids occupied themselves with their toys and coloring books and occasionally watching the game. There was a bouncy house there (but we did not do that). It was a fun night and good to see my brother, wife, and nephew, whom I haven’t seen in a while because they live in New Jersey.

We got there around 6 (game start at 705pm) and left around 9pm. The game was in the 7th inning when we left so we missed the fireworks, but the kids were getting restless. It was a long day for them – but a really good day. I have not been to the PNC Field since they redid it (5-ish years ago) so it was nice to see it, watch some baseball and spend time with family. Definitely a summer must-do in years to come.

Big smiles and blue lips equates to a successful evening
