7 Layer Taco Dip

Do you love tacos like me? We had a party at work recently where everyone brought in a dish – whether it was an app, main dish or dessert. I wanted to bring in something different from my usual, so I checked on my pinterest and decided to try this 7 layer taco dip recipe. Let me tell you it was a huge hit and there was nothing left at the end of our little party. If you’re looking for a quick and easy throw it together app – this is perfect for you!

Ingredients

1 can refried beans

1 packet taco seasoning

2-3 avocados

1-2 tablespoons of lime juice

1 16-ounce container sour cream

1 jar salsa (I used medium)

2 cups shredded Mexican cheese

1-2 green onions, diced

1 small can sliced black olives

1-2 Roma Tomatoes, chopped

Tortilla Chips, for serving

Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning, blending it well.

2. In another bowl , mash avocado and mix in lime juice. The lime juice helps the avocado from turning brown.

Assembly

1. In a serving dish spread bean mixture on bottom.

2. Layer the avocado mixture on top of beans.

3. Carefully spread the sour cream on top of avocado mixture.

4. Layer the salsa on top of sour cream.

5. Sprinkle cheese on top of the salsa layer.

6. Sprinkle the green onions, black olives and tomatoes on top.

7. Serve with tortilla chips & enjoy!
