The Ultimate Dump & Go: Crockpot Mississippi Chicken for Busy Nights

I am sure you have all heard and/or tried the viral Mississippi Pot Roast recipe – but if you haven’t tried Mississippi Chicken – you NEED to. This dinner disappears when I make it. My family loves it – the only thing that makes me sad about this recipe is that it is devoured and there are never any leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) Salted Butter
  • 6 Pepperoncini Peppers

Instructions

  1. Add 3 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts to the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle 1 packet au jus gravy mix and 1 packet ranch dressing mix on top of the chicken.
  3. Then, top with 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter and 6 pepperoncini peppers. For a little added kick, you can add some of the pepperoncini pepper juice to the pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. The chicken will produce its own juices so you don’t have to add any other liquid to this.
  5. When it’s ready, take a couple of forks and shred the chicken. Then serve! You can serve it over rice or mashed potatoes or with whatever you like – it’s delicious regardless!

I am telling you this recipe is so easy & so delicious – let me know in the comments if you try it!

Happy Cooking!
